Inspira Advisory & Consulting Limited ( is a strategy consulting & business research firm based in Dhaka run by a group of professionals graduating from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, Oxford Saïd Business School, and few other top business and economics schools across South Asia. Within a span of 6 years, Inspira has served close to 100 clients including Key directorates and ministries of the Government of Bangladesh, Bi-lateral donors, Corporates, Local Conglomerates, UN agencies and nonprofit organizations (NPO) for conducting sector research, cost benefit analyses, socio-economic studies, market system assessment, feasibility studies, market scanning and private sector development. About the Role:

Associate will be expected to handle client engagements & project delivery in association with Inspira’s management team & external consultants. Specific job description includes:

  • Support Senior Associates/Team Leads in designing the research plan, project proposals, concept notes etc.
  • Design and Manage Research, Data Management, Brief Interviewers and Enumerators, Monitor Progress of Surveys, Ensure Data Quality, Analyze and Present Results to Clients
  • Conduct data collection activities through household/online/telephonic surveys, focus group discussions, key informant interviews, online analytics etc.
  • Data filtration, entry, analyses using analytics software tools (Proficiency in analytics software package like SPSS/R/Stata is an advantage).
  • Synthesize research findings with the guidance of project supervisors to develop valuable insights/conclusions.
  • Development of internal and client-ready reports/presentations.
  • Conducting field visits (inside and outside of Dhaka) whenever necessary.
  • Engagement with potential clients and external consultants for business development.
  • Coordinating clients to communicate regular status updates and facilitate verbal and email communication.
  • PowerPoint slides making for ad-hoc presentations.
  • Participating in thought leadership.
  • Supervising Research Associates/Interns/enumerators 

Desired Traits:

  • Passion in the field of research and data analysis
  • Understanding of Quantitative Research Methods.
  • Being a team player, supporting team members in difficult situations.
  • Being an anchor for the project assigned. Ensure the project deadlines are met on time. 
  • Managing Enumerators in a medium-large scale deployment, ensuring data quality and validity
  • Being able to excel in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in Designing and Conducting Brand Tracking, Equity Research, KBPA Analysis etc. 
  • Handling Corporate and FMCG clients is a plus. 

Educational  Background:

Background in Business or other relevant disciplines. Having a Major/Minor on Marketing is preferable. Expertise on statistical analysis is highly desirable.

Work Experience:

1.5-2 years experience in Core Market Research.

Prior experience in enumerator management, data management,  data quality assurance, and validity checks is preferable. 

Work Hours: 9am – 6pm, 5 days a week. May have to work on weekends or longer hours during critical phases of the project cycle. 

Salary and other benefits: Negotiable. There will be 2 Festival bonuses and yearly increments as per company policy. Compensatory Leaves.
